Self-Priming Pump Overview:
ZW series self priming electric pump can automatically expel the gas in the suction pipeline during startup, eliminating the need to pre-fill the pump. This feature ensures safety when handling highly corrosive materials. Its efficient hydraulic design makes it more energy-efficient than ordinary pumps. The pump operates with minimal vibration and noise, providing a comfortable working environment.
Applications:
Suitable for urban environmental protection, construction, fire protection, chemical processing, pharmaceuticals, dyes, printing and dyeing, alcohol manufacturing, electricity, electroplating, papermaking, industrial and mining flushing, equipment cooling, and more.
When equipped with a rocker-type sprinkler, the pump can spray water into the air and disperse it into fine raindrops, making it ideal for use on farms, nurseries, orchards, and tea gardens.
Applicable for clean water, seawater, chemical liquids with acidic or alkaline properties, and slurries with general paste (medium viscosity <100 centipoise, solid content <30%).
Compatible with filter presses of any model or specification, making it an ideal pump for feeding slurry into filter presses during filtration processes.

Structural Features:
The pump utilizes an axial liquid return structure, consisting of a suction chamber, liquid storage chamber, vortex chamber, liquid return hole, and gas-liquid separation chamber. Once the pump starts, the impeller draws liquid from the suction chamber and mixes it with the air in the suction pipeline. The high-speed impeller creates centrifugal force, propelling the liquid and gas mixture toward the vortex chamber's outer edge, forming a white foam layer.
The gas-liquid mixture enters the gas-liquid separation chamber through the diffuser, where the lighter gas separates from the liquid due to the sudden reduction in flow rate. The gas rises and exits through the pump outlet, while the liquid returns to the storage chamber, re-enters the impeller through the return hole, and mixes with more gas from the suction pipe. This cyclical process continues until all the air is removed from the suction pipe, completing the self-priming process. The pump then transitions to normal operation.
Operation Instructions:
Check all fasteners, including those on the pump base, coupling, and bearing seat. Tighten any loose components.
Manually turn the coupling to ensure there are no obstructions or abnormal sounds.
Open the water-filling valve above the pump, add water to fill at least two-thirds of the pump body, and then close the valve. No additional water is required for subsequent starts.
Connect the power supply and perform a test rotation. From the motor end, the rotation should be clockwise. (Reversal is strictly prohibited.)
Start the pump and observe its operation. If abnormalities are detected, identify and resolve the issue before proceeding.
Under normal circumstances, the ZW series self priming electric pump does not need to be disassembled for maintenance, and any faults can be eliminated when found.
