New Title

Heavy-Duty Centrifugal Slurry Pumps – Built for the Harsh High-Abrasion Working Conditions Worldwide

Full Revised English Text

Our heavy-duty centrifugal slurry pumps are professionally engineered to cope with the world's most severe abrasive working conditions.

In the mining, metallurgy and coal processing industries, equipment costs go far beyond the initial purchase price - downtime losses count the most. When conveying high-density and highly abrasive slurry media, ordinary standard pumps are simply not qualified. What you need is a reliable solution designed for long-term endurance.

Our full range of heavy-duty slurry pumps is perfectly suited for the toughest operating scenarios, including dense tailings, mineral concentrates, fly ash and dredged sand. Adopting advanced hydraulic design and high wear-resistant materials, our pumps feature longer service life, stable continuous operation and lower overall maintenance costs.

The Wet End Advantage: Built on Advanced Material Science

A slurry pump's service life largely depends on its wet end material composition. We never adopt a generic, one‑size‑fits‑all design philosophy.

High-Chrome Alloy (A05 / Cr27)Boasting a hardness of 60–65 HRC, this material serves as our standard selection for handling sharp, coarse particles under high-pressure working conditions.

Natural Rubber Liners (R55)Perfectly suited for fine-particle slurries. Its excellent rebound resilience effectively resists cutting damage and medium erosion.

Specialized Alloy OptionsWe also provide A49 alloy and duplex stainless steel solutions, ideal for working scenarios suffering from simultaneous corrosion and abrasion.

Optimized Hydraulics & Versatile Seal Solutions

Efficiency and wear resistance don't have to be mutually exclusive. Our impellers are engineered with large passage diameters to prevent clogging, while the reduced vane count minimizes internal turbulence-balancing high performance with long service life.

Expeller (Centrifugal) Seal

Eliminates the need for expensive seal water in most operating scenarios, reducing operational costs and complexity.

Gland Packing

A rugged, reliable choice specifically designed for high-suction head applications, delivering consistent performance in demanding conditions.

Mechanical Seals

Available as an optional configuration to meet zero-leakage requirements, ideal for chemical processing or environmentally sensitive systems where fluid containment is critical.

Modular Maintenance Logic

We understand that every minute spent on pump disassembly translates to lost production. That's why our pumps are engineered with modular design principles to simplify maintenance and minimize downtime:

Cartridge-Style Removable Bearings

The bearing assembly can be replaced as a single cartridge, eliminating the need to disconnect or reconfigure piping. This streamlines the maintenance process and gets the pump back online faster.

External Throatbush Adjustment

Equipped with a simple external adjustment mechanism, it allows operators to close the gap between the impeller and liner without opening the pump. As wear occurs over time, this adjustment restores the clearance to "as-new" specifications, reclaiming optimal performance without extensive downtime.

Core Applications

Our heavy-duty centrifugal slurry pumps are built to excel in the world's most demanding abrasive environments, with proven performance across key industries:

Mining & Mineral Processing

Ideal for ball mill discharge, cyclone feed, tailings transport, and mineral concentrate transfer - handling high-density, abrasive slurries with reliability.

Power Plants

Engineered to manage bottom ash, fly ash handling, and FGD (Flue Gas Desulfurization) system loops, ensuring efficient, continuous operation in power generation processes.

Sand & Gravel / Dredging

Perfect for dredging operations, tunneling muck transport, and aggregate washing applications, tackling coarse, abrasive materials with minimal wear.

Chemical Industry

Designed to handle corrosive slurries, phosphoric acid production, and other chemical processing scenarios where resistance to both abrasion and corrosion is critical.

If you're tired of frequent pump breakdowns, short service life and high maintenance costs in handling abrasive, corrosive slurry, our heavy-duty centrifugal slurry pumps are exactly your ideal choice.

Built with high wear-resistant materials and optimized hydraulic design, our pumps perfectly handle mining tailings, mineral concentrates, ash slurry, dredging sand and chemical corrosive media. Thanks to the modular structure, versatile seal options and easy external adjustment, on-site maintenance becomes much simpler and downtime is greatly reduced.

No matter for mining, power plants, dredging or chemical industries, our slurry pumps deliver stable performance, lower running cost and longer service life in the toughest working conditions. We provide reliable, cost-effective pumping solutions for your harsh slurry transportation needs.

FAQ

58-3

01.How do I determine if I need a metal liner or a rubber liner?

Engineer's Advice: It depends on your Particle Size Distribution (PSD).

Metal (Cr27): Use this if your particles are large, sharp, and hard (e.g., +6mm rocks).

Rubber: Use this for fine, rounded particles (e.g., -2mm sand). Rubber "gives" under the impact of fine particles, whereas hard metal would eventually pit. Warning: Never use rubber for slurries over 70°C or where sharp debris (like tramp metal) might tear the liner.

02.Why is my pump wearing out faster than the manufacturer's curve suggests?

In 90% of cases, the pump is running too far from its Best Efficiency Point (BEP). When a pump runs too far "to the right" (high flow), the internal velocities skyrocket, and wear increases by the cube of the speed. We always recommend sizing the pump so it runs at 70%-85% of its BEP to maximize part life.

03.What is the difference between a "Slurry Pump" and a "Dredge Pump"?

While both are centrifugal, a Slurry Pump is usually designed for process plant environments with higher heads and more concentrated solids (up to 70% by weight). A Dredge Pump is designed primarily to move massive volumes of water with lower concentrations of solids (20-30%) and a focus on passing very large individual rocks through the impeller.

04.Can your parts be used in my existing [Brand Name] pumps?

Yes. Our wet-end components are designed to be 100% dimensionally interchangeable with most world-standard slurry pump brands. We use high-precision casting and CNC machining to ensure that our liners, impellers, and volutes fit your existing pump casing perfectly, often providing a longer wear life due to our superior alloy control.

05.How do I stop the leaking at the shaft?

If you are using gland packing, a small "drip" is actually necessary for cooling. However, if it's a heavy leak, you likely have a worn shaft sleeve or insufficient seal water pressure. If water is scarce at your site, we recommend switching to an Expeller Seal setup, which uses centrifugal force to seal the pump while running, requiring zero external water.
