Horizontal Heavy Duty Slurry Pump is categorized into the following types: WAH, WAHR, WAHP, WM, WHH, WH, and WHP slurry pumps.

This pump is suitable for metallurgy, mining, coal, power, building materials, and other industrial sectors for transporting highly abrasive, high-concentration slag slurry. Additionally, this type of pump can be used in multi-stage series configurations.

The WAH, WM, and WHH type pump shaft seals can utilize either packing seals or centrifugal seals. The pump outlet position can be adjusted in eight different angles, with a 45-degree interval for installation.

WAHR and MR pump flow components are designed for rubber materials. The pump body, pump cover, and driving mechanism are compatible with WAH, WL, and WM type pumps. These pumps are suitable for conveying fine particles and corrosive slurries.

The design of the inlet and outlet is directly related to the fluid adaptability and operating efficiency of the pump. The inlet and outlet design of horizontal heavy duty slurry pump is relatively direct, with smooth water flow and reduced unnecessary resistance, which enables it to maintain high efficiency when processing slurry of general concentration.

The bearing components and sealing form are key factors for the stability of slurry pump performance. The bearing component of the slurry pump adopts a cylindrical structure, which facilitates the adjustment of the gap between the impeller and the front guard plate. It can be disassembled as a whole during maintenance, improving the convenience of maintenance. Its sealing forms are diverse, including packing seal, impeller seal, and mechanical seal, etc. The appropriate sealing method can be selected according to specific working conditions.

Seal options

 

Gland seal:Most popular type of seaI. Clean water at a certain pressure being injected into the packing through the lantern restrictor, preventing leakage from casing. Simple stRcture, easy maintenance and low cost,suitable for where expeller seal unsuitable.

Expeller seal:The expeller generate a reverse centrifugal force to prevents the leakage. It can be used for single-stage pump or the first pump of multiple pumps in series when the positive pressure at suction side is larger than that at discharge side by no more than 10%. No gland water is needed, the slurry will not be diluted and the sealing effect is reliable, used in where dilution of slurry is not allowed.

Mechanical seal:Suitable for applications where no extra substance is allowed to mix with the fluid being pumped,such as chemical or food industry.
