1. Technical documents that must be available before installation
① The pump's factory certificate of conformity. ② Quality inspection certificates issued by the manufacturer for important parts and components (covering manufacturing, assembly, etc.), together with the machine's test-run records. ③ The pump and equipment installation layout drawing, installation drawing, foundation drawing, general assembly drawing, main component drawings, wear-part drawings, and the installation and operation manual. ④ The pump's packing list. ⑤ The relevant installation codes and the installation technical requirements or work plan.
2. Unpacking inspection and management
① Check the pump's name, model, specifications, packing case number and number of cases, and inspect the packaging condition. ② Check whether the accompanying technical documents and special tools are complete. ③ Visually inspect the main unit, auxiliary equipment and components, and verify the variety, specifications and quantities of the components. ④ After inspection, submit a countersigned inspection record.
3. Conditions the construction site must meet before pump installation
① Civil works are basically complete, i.e. the foundation is ready for installation, underground works near the foundation are basically finished, and the site has been leveled. ② Construction transport routes and fire-access roads are clear. ③ Construction lighting, water supply and power supply are available. ④ The lifting and transport equipment for installation is ready for use. ⑤ Storage facilities for components, spare parts and tools are provided. ⑥ The necessary fire-fighting equipment is provided.
