Agricultural Irrigation Diesel Water Pump

The HW type mixed-flow pump is a horizontal, single-stage, single-suction, volute-type liquid transportation equipment with a liquid discharge structure. It is mainly used for transporting clear water or liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to clear water (temperature ≤ 50℃), and is widely applied in farmland irrigation, industrial and urban water supply and drainage fields. Its performance covers a flow rate of 90 to 900 m³/h and a head of 3.5 to 22 m. It is suitable for electric motor or diesel engine power sources, and the transmission method supports direct connection and variable speed.
This pump adopts a compact structure and has the characteristics of high efficiency, small size, light weight, and convenient maintenance. The rotation direction of the impeller, when viewed from the inlet, is generally counterclockwise (650HW-5, -7, -10 types are clockwise). The model naming is based on the inlet/outlet diameter, pump type code and designed head. For example, 100HW-8-S indicates a diameter of 100 mm, a head of 8 meters, and S is a deformation code. The pump body, motor and base are supplied as a complete set. The shaft seal device uses packing seal to prevent leakage. Some models support impeller cutting or replacement to adjust performance.

The HW type mixed-flow pump is mainly composed of the pump body, impeller, shaft, bearings, and sealing devices. The pump body is usually made of cast iron or welded steel plates, with a reasonable internal flow channel design that can reduce hydraulic losses. The impeller is of mixed-flow type, with blade shapes between those of centrifugal pumps and axial-flow pumps, taking into account the advantages of both. The shaft is made of high-quality carbon steel or stainless steel to ensure strength and corrosion resistance. The bearing part usually uses rolling bearings or sliding bearings, and the sealing device adopts mechanical seals or packing seals to prevent liquid leakage.

When the hw type mixed-flow pump is operating, the liquid enters the impeller through the inlet and gains energy under the action of the impeller's rotation. Due to the special design of the impeller, the liquid is subjected to both centrifugal force and axial thrust, thus forming a mixed-flow motion. After passing through the impeller, the liquid enters the guide vane or the pump casing, where its kinetic energy is further converted into pressure energy, and finally is discharged from the outlet. This working mode enables the hw type mixed-flow pump to maintain high efficiency within a wide range of flow rates.

The HW type mixed-flow pump is suitable for various applications:
(1) Agricultural irrigation: It is used for water supply in farmlands and orchards, capable of meeting the requirements of high flow and low head.
(2) Industrial water supply: It performs well in factory circulating water systems and cooling water transportation.
