One, what is a法兰?
A flange is a disc-shaped component, and it is the most common type in pipeline engineering. Flanges are always used in pairs. In pipeline engineering, flanges are mainly used for connecting pipes. For pipes that need to be connected, various flange plates are installed. For low-pressure pipes, threaded flanges can be used, while for pipes with a pressure of 4 kilograms or more, welded flanges should be used. A sealing point is added between the two flange plates, and then they are tightened with bolts. Flanges of different pressures have different thicknesses and use different bolts. For pumps and valves, when connecting to the pipeline, these equipment parts are also made into corresponding flange shapes, which are also called flange connections. Any connection part that uses bolts to connect and seal simultaneously on the periphery of two planes is generally called a "flange", such as the connection of ventilation ducts. These types of parts can be called "flange-type parts". However, this connection is only a part of the equipment. For example, the connection between a flange and a pump is not suitable to call the pump a "flange-type part". For smaller ones like valves, they can be called "flange-type parts".
II. What is a live coupling flange? Where and in what types of pipe fittings is it used?
The flexible flange is a movable flange plate. It is usually used in conjunction with water supply and drainage accessories (the most common application is on expansion joints). When the product is manufactured, there is a flange at each end of the expansion joint, which is directly connected to the pipes and equipment in the project using bolts. The inlet and outlet of the sand and gravel pump also use flexible flanges.
III. How is the flange connected to the pipe and at what part is it welded?
There are many types of flanges. Generally, they include flat flanges, butt-weld flanges (long-neck flanges), and slip-on flanges, etc. Flat-welded flanges are used for medium and low pressure, and they are welded by insertion. Both sides are welded, with the welding depth being 2-5mm from the sealing surface of the flange. Butt-weld flanges can be directly welded together. Slip-on flanges are bolted together and do not require welding.
Four. What does "flanged" mean?
A flange is a connecting component used to join a valve to a pipeline. When a valve is connected to a pipeline, the connection point is achieved through bolt connections. Therefore, if two end faces of a valve have N evenly distributed bolt holes, it is a flange type.
1. Flange: Flange is the transliteration of the word "flange", meaning something or a part with a flange. This part can be a single component, such as a flange disc, or it can be a combined type, like a flanged end or both ends of a pipe. The flange has several through holes on its top to facilitate the installation of screws. Some bearing outer rings have a flange, and this flange can have holes or may not have holes, serving only as a guard and positioning element.
2. Flanged type: The connection between the valve and the pipeline or machinery equipment is made by using flange connection. This connection method is generally referred to as the flanged type.
